The Nest Pendant
Overview
The Nest Pendant project was created in partnership with Boyd Lighting Company, a creator of elegant, technically forward fixtures built entirely in-house. Filmed on location in Oakland, the goal was to tell the origin story of the Nest Pendant by following its journey from sketch to molten glass - highlighting glass blowing, material work, and the intent behind every decision. I blended staged setups with a run-and-gun approach to leave room for real moments and interactions, resulting in cinematic footage that still feels natural and unforced. Deliverables included a 60-second “making of” video spot in multiple formats for web and social, along with a library of select, color-graded extended clips for ongoing use in Boyd’s marketing, giving their team flexible, on-brand visuals to showcase the craft behind this signature piece.
